How It Works

At San Diego Menopause Clinic, we prioritize your time and strive to provide efficient and effective care for women navigating menopause and perimenopause. Here's important information about our appointment structure, fees, and how to schedule your visits:

Fees and Information

Community Q&A

Join us for our monthly virtual Q&A sessions, held the first Thursday of each month at 4pm PST, with our menopause specialist Dr. Davis. These complimentary gatherings offer a valuable opportunity for patients, prospective patients, as well as friends, partners, and significant others to come together and learn. You do not need to download any software to join. Use the following link to access the meeting:

New Individual Patient $400

Discover tailored care at our clinic with our comprehensive and personalized new patient visits. These sessions are $400 and extend for 45 minutes, ensuring ample time for thorough assessment and discussion. Should you require additional time or possess a complex medical background, simply reach out to our office to arrange for a one-hour appointment.

New Group Patient $200

For those seeking a more economical option, we offer group appointments every Wednesday at 4pm. These virtual sessions are $200 per person, will include 3-5 patients, and will last an hour.  During these gatherings, participants can openly discuss symptoms and concerns while receiving expert guidance and prescription medication management. To participate, patients will complete a comprehensive questionnaire beforehand and consent to the sharing of health information within the group. While group sessions offer invaluable support, we recommend individual appointments for those with intricate medical histories.

Established Patients $200

A 2 month follow up visit is required after initiating hormone therapy.  We want to ensure optimal dosing and symptom management.  Our follow-up visits are $200 and last 20 minutes.  Subsequent visits may be necessary, particularly for those embarking on testosterone therapy or encountering new health considerations.  Once you are established on hormone therapy at an effective dose, one annual visit is required.

Insurance

We do not participate with insurance plans, enabling us to extend appointment durations to more than double the length of conventional models. We can provide patients with a superbill that can be submitted to their health insurance for potential reimbursement under out-of-network coverage. Patients also have the option to use Health Savings Account (HSA) funds for our services.

Payment

We will collect payment for services before the time of your visit. If you choose to keep your card on file, your card will be run up to 48 hours in advance of your appointment and a transaction receipt will be emailed to you. If a card is not on file, you may choose to pay via the patient portal, by calling our office, or via a PayPal invoice emailed to you. Payment must be received before services are rendered. If payment has not been received 2 days before your appointment, your appointment will be canceled and need to be rescheduled.

At San Diego Menopause Clinic, we are dedicated to offering accessible and personalized care to support you during the menopausal transition. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office. We look forward to assisting you on your menopause journey
